July 20-30, 2021

Face the Challenge

The 2021 National Scout Jamboree is July 20-30 at the BSA's Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. The Tukabatchee Area Council is sending a contingent for this great event.

The National Scout Jamboree is a gathering of some 40,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff held only every four years. Scouts and Venturers will enjoy more than 5 miles of zip line and challenge courses, 36 miles of mountain bike trails, and 13 acres of shooting sports ranges, on a sprawling 10,600-acre site in West Virginia designed for excitement! Try out world-class venues for kayaking, rock climbing, bouldering, skateboarding, BMX, plus enjoy arena shows and more. For more detailed Jamboree activity information visit the
Jamboree website

Our Jamboree troop will depart on July 20 and return on July 30. The $2000 fee includes the Jamboree, most activities, meals, travel, and three t-shirts. Patches, snacks, and souvenirs are not included. We are planning to travel via charter bus but may fly if favorable pricing is available.

The $2000 fee is dependent on filling the troop. Help us by telling others about this great trip. Fundraising opportunities will be discussed at future troop meetings.

A $175 deposit required to secure your Scout's spot. Other payments are indicated on the FORM AVAILABLE HERE. Payments must be kept current and paid by May 2021 to keep your spot. There are no refunds available unless we are able to sell your spot. The first $100 is non-refundable.

Youth Scouts BSA participants must be at least age 12 by the time we depart Montgomery, but not yet 18 by July 30. Venturing youth participants must not yet 21 by July 30.
