Camp Dexter C. Hobbs is on the site of the old Camp Tukabatchee (1950-1999). From 1999 to 2005 our old camp was transformed into the Cub Scout and Family camp. A large pavillion and several sleeping cabins are just a few features of the camp. Camp Hobbs is home to our annual Webelos Resident Camp each summer. Camp Hobbs is available for use by packs, troops, and other groups.
Contact Denise Miller at the council service center, 334-262-2697, to use Camp Tukabatchee during non-event weekends.
Two hiking trails are available at Camp Hobbs and Camp Tuk. Hikers have a choice of the 5 mile First Class Trail at Camp Tuk or the shorter 2.4 mile trail at Camp Hobbs.
