Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Saturday, January 13, 8:00 am, to Sunday, January 14, 11:30 am at Camp Tukabatchee

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING WINTER CAMP, PAY THE WINTER CAMP FEE, NOT THIS FEE.  Notify Jonathan Crosby that you'll be at winter camp so he can add you to this roster.

Having a TRAINED leader is essential to providing a quality program. Troops whose leadership are trained tend to produce more Eagle Scouts which are our future leaders of tomorrow. To be considered TRAINED a SM must complete Scoutmaster Leader Training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. We are offering IOLS this weekend.

The fee is $45 which covers dinner and breakfast, snacks, and program materials.

Registration begins Saturday at 7:00 am.

Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, 2nd year Webelos Den Leaders, Venturing Crew Advisors and any registered leaders who will be camping with Scouts need to include this weekend of IOLS on their training agenda. Scoutmasters are not fully trained until they have attended IOLS and Scoutmaster Leader training. To attend Wood Badge, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members need to be fully trained.

Participants need to bring the standard gear they would take on a Troop campout. Bring parts A& B of the BSA medical form with you as well.
