Scoutmaster Leader Training & Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Friday, April 17, 6:30 pm, to Sunday, April 19, 11:30 am at Camp Hobbs


Having a TRAINED leader is essential to providing a quality program. Troops whose leadership are trained tend to produce more Eagle Scouts which are our future leaders of tomorrow. To be considered TRAINED a SM must complete Scoutmaster Leader Training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. We are offering Scoutmaster Leader Training and IOLS in one weekend. The fee is $30 which covers meals, snacks, and program materials. 


Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, 2nd year Webelos Den Leaders, Venturing Crew Advisors and any registered leaders who will be camping with Scouts need to include this weekend of IOLS on their training agenda. Scoutmasters are not fully trained until they have attended IOLS. To attend Wood Badge, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members need to be fully trained.


The fee is $30 if paid by April 14 and $35 after.


Participants need to bring the standard gear they would take on a Troop campout. Bring parts A& B of the BSA medical form with you as well. https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/healthsafety/pdf/680-001_abc.pdf
