Scouts, Leaders, and Friends of Scouting,

It is with deep sadness and regret that we formally announce that we have made the very difficult decision to suspend the 2020 Summer Camp Season at Camp Tukabatchee.

While all options were considered, we found this to be the best for the overall health and safety of our Scouts, Adult Leaders, and Staff.

We have begun reviewing our records and will be processing refunds for all of our troops. Our goal is to have sent all refunds to troops by August 15, 2020. Checks will be made out to each troop and we will be sending a detail of payments received for your respective unit. All online payments will be included with these checks. Campsite deposits are not included with these refunds.

As always, we are thankful for the love and support of Camp Tukabatchee, and we are hopeful to be back, better than ever, during the summer of 2021.

Counselor in Training (CIT)

The mission of the CIT program is to safely and successfully prepare a 14+-year-old Scout for their future camp staff experience through a variety of engaging learning experiences with the current staff. We accomplish this purpose by providing you with on-the-job training experience needed to be successful. CITs are brought to the camp to learn and to assist in the major program areas of the camp. Applications can be downloaded from our leader's guide and submitted to the Council Service Center. CIT's must attend a week of summer camp with their troop and be able to return for an additional week to be accepted into the program.
