NYLT is a 6-day experience that takes place over a full week. It is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide youth members of Scouts BSA with leadership skills and experiences that they can use in their troop, crew, or ship and in other situations demanding quality leadership. NYLT is a combination of classroom and practical “Hands-on” exercises. Through activities, presentations, challenges, and discussions, NYLT participants are engaged in a unified approach to leadership.
