Friends of Scouting
Friends of Scouting is an annual fundraising drive of the Tukabatchee Area Council. This drive raises just more than 42% of the council's operating revenues and provides for council camps, equipment, new unit organization, liability insurance, and many more of the items required to assure quality Scouting in central Alabama. Currently, more than 2,500 friends enroll annually in our largest fundraising campaign.
Endowment
The James E. West Award is a national recognition for individuals who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to their local council endowment trust fund. This contribution is in addition to, and does not diminish or replace, the donor's annual gift to our council's Friends of Scouting campaign. Organizations or individuals may contribute an award in honor of someone such as an Eagle Scout, Silver Beaver, adult leader, or in memory of a loved one.
Send a Scout to Camp
Many of today's youth, our future leaders, need our help to attend camp. Your donation can help us give a Scout the chance to experience the outdoors, a chance to develop lifelong friendships, and a week/weekend of fun and learning.
