WINTER CAMP 2022
December 27 - December 30, 2022
Winter Camp is a 4-day cold weather camping experience at Camp Tukabatchee the last week in December. Participants will be able to work on merit badges or rank advancement while enjoying the beauty of the campgrounds in the winter. Our experience from the past camps has shown the value of this camp on the Scout's road to Eagle. Scouts can take up to 4 merit badges during this 4-day experience.
Due November 1, 2022:
(1) Step 1: Payment:
$160 for youth or $75 for adults.
A late fee of $25 will be charged after November 1st. Payments in full are required.
Late registrants may not receive a t-shirt or patch.
(2) Step 2: Registration information:
All youth and adults attending Winter Camp are encouraged to register online.
Please have the following information available before using the Registration button to the left:
(1) Participant's Name (youth or adult)
(2) Participant's Unit Number (youth or adult)
(3) Participant's Rank (youth only)
(4) Participant's Gender (youth or adult)
(5) Participant's Age (youth or adult)
(6) Participant's T-shirt size (youth or adult)
(7) Participant's 10 class choices (youth only)
(8) Payment receipt number. (youth or adult)
(3) Campership requests (if applicable).
No scout should miss the opportunity to camp because of the lack of funds. Camperships are available to assist Tukabatchee Area Council Scouts who cannot afford the entire Winter Camp fee. Camperships are available to cover a partial amount of camp fees. The Unit and or the Scout are responsible for the remainder. Please contact Denise Miller at the Council Office (334) 262-2697 for a Campership application and full details on the Campership Program.
(4) Additional t-shirt order:
Each registered adult and youth participants receive one free t-shirt with their payment/registration.
Additional t-shirts can be ordered using the button to the immediate left. Additional t-shirts may not be available if ordered after November 15, 2022. You are encouraged to order any additional items by November 1, 2022.
(5) Additional patch order:
Each registered adult and youth participants receive one free patch with their payment/registration.
Additional patches can be ordered using the button to the immediate left. Additional patches may not be available if ordered after November 15, 2022. You are encouraged to order any additional items by November 1, 2022.

(2) Staff Applications:
We are always looking for Scouts and Adult Leaders to be part of our Camp Staff. Staff members must be at least 15 years old by November 15 prior to camp (no exceptions). A staff application is available online with Winter Camp resources. Please remember, applying for Camp Staff is not an automatic hiring or acceptance. Please communicate with the Camp Director regarding the status of Camp Staff applications. Please submit your staff application to Kevin Houlditch no later than November 15, 2022.
(1) Special Dietary Requests:
Special dietary requests for medical or religious reasons must be made by November 15th. Every effort will be made to work with troops to accommodate these requests. Please note, that an additional fee may be required if we are unable to accommodate these needs with the commissary stock.
